Volunteer Services & Gift Shop
The YVM Volunteer Services program has been suspended during the COVID-19 Pandemic to ensure the safety of this population.
The Gift Shop, due to restricted patient visitation, has been closed during the COVID-19 Pandemic.
Memorial's volunteers provide the following services for our patients:
- Wireless internet access
- Free Yakima Herald-Republic and
El Sol newspapers daily upon request
- Magazines and books
- Stationary and envelopes
- Pickup and deliver special request items e. gifts shop items, stamps etc. The Volunteer will collect the money on delivery.*
We also have a limited number of other items available:
- Reading glasses
- Playing cards
- Word search books
- Crossword books
- Sodoku books
*Volunteers cannot pick up anddeliver food or beverage items.
The Gift Shop
The Gift Shop is currently closed due to COVID-19
The Gift Shop is located on the first floor and offers a wide selection of personal items, gifts, and reading materials.
Hours of operation:
Weekdays: 9 a.m.- 7:30p.m.
Saturdays: 10 a.m.- 5 p.m.
Sundays: Noon - 4 p.m.
The Gift Shop is open most major holidays from Noon - 4 p.m.
