Specialized rehabilitation services—certified Medicare unit

Individuals with delirium, dementia or mental illness often need a specialized environment that can address challenging behaviors during recovery from surgery or serious illness. Garden Village provides a seven-bed short-term stay unit for individuals with behavioral health care needs who require skilled nursing care and rehabilitation following a hospitalization. Licensed nurses, nursing assistants, physical, occupational and speech therapists work with social workers and mental health professionals to assure well-managed recovery and appropriate return to community placements.
