Please call Pulmonary Rehabilitation at 576-7654.
The Pulmonary Rehabilitation Clinic was designed to aid individuals with chronic obstructive and/or restrictive lung disease such as emphysema, asthma, chronic bronchitis, bronchiectasis or fibrosis that interferes with quality of life.
Pulmonary rehabilitation is an integrated, "whole person" approach designed to address not just the physical, but also the emotional and social aspects of each patient's disease.
Quality of life is improved while reducing hospitalizations, emergency room visits and long-term care costs.
Rehabilitation consists of several days of comprehensive evaluation, treatment and training. The goal is to help the patient and the patient's physician manage the disease. Evaluations and treatments are ordered based on specific needs.
Treatment regimens are evaluated and modified. Patients also receive in-depth training about their disease and instructions on how they can help control it.
