Medical Oncology/Hematology Opportunity
Join 4 medical oncologists and 2 radiation oncologists treating a culturally diverse population throughout Central Washington.
North Star Lodge is a 42,000 sq. ft. cancer center that operates in Yakima, WA and has two outreach clinics in Ellensburg, WA (30 miles) and Sunnyside, WA (40 miles). Work in clinic four days a week. Two days will be in Yakima, 1 day in Ellensburg, and 1 day in Sunnyside. The outreach clinic days rotate every other week. Typical work day will be 7 am - 5 pm or 8 am – 5 pm. The practice offers a good mix of tumor types and diseases including blood related cancers. Typically see 15-20 patients per day. RN’s run the chemo infusion area and all are chemo certified and most are also Oncology certified. As a part of the Memorial system you will benefit from a built in referral network with other affiliated physicians. The practice has EMR (Chart Connect®) online.

Minimum Requirements
Medical degree from an accredited school.
Experience: Graduation from an accredited IM residency program. Graduation from an accredited medical oncology fellowship program. Graduation from an accredited hematology fellowship program optional.
Certificate/License: Board certified in Internal Medicine. Board certified or board eligible in medical oncology and/or hematology. Current medical license to practice in Washington State or eligible for Washington licensure.
